I became a certified D.A.R.E. instructor in 1995 and taught the original curriculum for nearly nine years as part of my duties with the Sheriff’s Office.  During that time, I touched the lives of hundreds of children and had the opportunity to project a positive image of police officers with every interaction. 

 

I look forward to bringing the D.A.R.E. program back to our community in its’ new updated version known as “Keepin’ it REAL”! 

 

I absolutely believe that providing our children with positive decision making skills today, will lead to a safer and brighter future for them and the community.
